As a fellow maker of scratch games, nice work! It ran super smooth, and made me smile. I jumped in without reading about the special events and the player-bullet swap thing was pretty hilarious. I thought I'd done something wrong at first, but then I knew - it was that dang reverse card!

First it swaps the buttons in the menus, then it swapped me, what'll it swap next???

Nice game! I do think the menu buttons are backwards, but it works great besides that!

@john-wuller Yeah the menu buttons are backwards and it confused me a bit at first.. but we just got uno reverse careded! :D All in all a cool game and now it made me think of using scratch for the next jam to see how it goes!

@kikiriki367 Ah, that makes sense :)

Also if you want, you can build Scratch programs for other platforms using https://packager.turbowarp.org/

An interesting concept. The graphics might not be perfect but the idea is well executed. A shooting game is my least expected genre for a scratch game, but it ran surprisingly smooth! The special events are super unique as well! The background music is a plus for this game. Despite all the other available shooting game entries, this game surely stood out in the crowd!

Movements was really smooth and fun twist with the reverse event. Also cool that you made it in scratch

At first I was confused why the game just started when I clicked "How to Play" but then I remembered the name of the game. Anyways, fun shooter game, and the reverse card events made things more exciting. I was also confused at first by why I kept dying after the switching of the player and bullet, but it felt good once I figured it out.
