Cute graphics and sound!
Cute art style!!
I love a good investigation game, and the artstyle reminded me of Professor layton a bit, really nice. I guessed the right murderer, but I'm not sure __*why__* they were the murderer or how I should have found out.
Great art though I think the scarecrow didn't quite fit with the environment and other characters. I ended up figuring out who the murderer was but it was an educated guess at best, there were only a couple of clues and none of them really required much thought or were a smoking gun. Great job for a game jam though.
A couple of concrete suggestions, I think the scarecrow moved a little slow so it was annoying to keep moving between houses. I also think it would have been beneficial to put something at the start that somewhat forces you to go to the right towards where the people are. I initially ignored the road and went down when I saw the house so ended up looping around to all of the houses before noticing that the suspects were in the center.
I like the idea of the game and it looks cute. The scarecrow is a fun main character. It does lack depth and more clues to figure out would be welcome addition.
Very cute style, love the hops on that scarecrow. Nice job!
Good work for a game jam. Guessed the right murderer but I don't know exactly the reason. I think the story would be much clear if more information or clues were given. The art and animations are cute! One suggestion about the game is the movement. I think it would be better to reduce the collision size of obstacles.
Hi everyone thanks for all the feedbacks, it's our first time doing game jam so we really appreciate them!!
ONE QUICK NOTE: there is a HIDDEN TUNNEL some where in the house, it's the key for finding the murderer, don't miss it :)
