Great Idea!! Would be great if you can achieve it for WebGL! May be I am being too demanding!! Nice to See some unique concepts which are taking gaming industry to next level. That too in a game jam. Hats off!! Cheers! Graphics could be better!

babbersher 2022-10-06 16:44

@chakit Thanks for the valuable feedback. Will look into Porting this to WebGL!

babbersher 2022-10-06 16:44

@sublustris That is a great Idea!

Very cool concept! Unique and creative.

It generally plays fine, although sometimes it didn't recognize well when I moved my hand far left. But that might just have been my positioning relative to the webcam.

djtequila 2022-10-07 01:37

This is really creative! Feels really cool to control a game this way. Unfortunately my inputs didn't always register, it could have been my webcam setup though.

benthetwoofus 2022-10-07 03:06

I admired your idea and your execution ability to make them a reality. Thanks to you, I pulled out my dusty 11-year-old webcam again. Unfortunately, with my 8-year-old computer or my older webcam, the gesture recognition wasn't fast enough to play games normally.

morcado 2022-10-07 03:17

nice game, i think mmodels could look a little better to keep the track of where the balls are going to hit :)

Wow! Incrível ideia inovadora

barna 2022-10-09 19:55

Such an unique idea! Nice work! I can't help it but i'm thinking about that this mechanic would perfectly fit a jedi themed AR game :D

reinhpash 2022-10-10 09:00

I used my laptop camera for the first time in five years

babbersher 2022-10-11 10:29

I did not expect to see a game like this in the jam very fun concept :)

mandytoh 2022-10-13 12:35

That's a really good concept, GG!

postfrog 2022-10-15 19:14

Cool idea! It didn't work the best for me, but that's probably because my webcam is terrible

chris1919 2022-10-18 00:11

I was really surprised how well that worked! I did struggle to hit the ball sometimes though. It was usually near the edge of the screen. I think it was hard for me to anticipate the ball position there because of the perspective. I saw you did add a light to the ball which should help with the depth perception. The paddle movement itself though was pretty solid which I'm sure was the hardest part of the development.
