I really REALLY liked the concept here. I feel like it could be a very puzzle game if a couple of the kinks were worked out.

Maybe I missed it, but I wish there was a way to check what the potions did without having to restart the game. some of the movement is a bit clunky, and the animations dont always match. For example, sometimes I start the round in the falling animation. Also, the 10 seconds to prepare before the level is a bit much when you've been trying he level a few times, but I understand that you did it for the theme. I just feel like it hurts the game overall.

But I did enjoy the game! Thank you for that!

Gud concept bro

Great concept!

Nice job! Really great idea of having a prep time and then a play time so that you've got to move fast! My only problem was sometimes I knew exactly what I needed and just wanted to retry because I mis-timed something and need to wait through the 10s prep time. But still, really great job!

The backgrounds and the music bring a lot to the atmosphere of the game. It's very pretty and the concept of the game is a very goud idea! Unfortunately I'm very bad and I failed to pass level 4...😅

This is a fun concept congrats on your entry! I think some things to make it even better would be: - A tutorial, or better: introduce potions little by little instead of all at once - Make levels a bit more easy, especially on game jams! Level 2 took me a long time

Really nice art and music and the game concept is also nice. I would like access to the potion description at the beginning during the game (maybe in the pause menu). The second level gravity switch is a little to slow i think. Very nice idea and art!

Really cool concept and potion design. You remember well what potion do what. The music is great and sticks great to game design. The only flaw is that we miss a few tutorials.

Stylistically this game is amazing. Unfortunately, I can't even make it past the first (proper) level where you have to use the gravity potion. ^^; I can't get the timing on it right and the resetting and prep time are really not conducive to trying over and over again. Agreed with whoever said above that adherence to the theme hurts the game here. Would love to see a more relaxed postjam version of this. It must be disclaimed that I am generally very picky about platformers, and I've never enjoyed those that rely so much on timing-based execution. So maybe I'm just an oddball and not the target audience.

The game is cool but. However next time you should use the theme to build something arround, and maybe the thme will help your game became better !

However, I really enjoyed your game, well done :)

I wasn't able to remember all the items, so I didn't get very far in my first run. It would be better to unlock them one after the other, create a manual or a tutorial. The art and the music are great and make up a cool puzzle game.

The game looks good, but I can't remember what the potions are for so it's hard to play :D a pop up when hovering on a potion would be great. Also, introducing them one after another would help.

Cool game! Feels really good when you perfectly execute on your potion plan. :)

k-s-raj 2022-10-08 18:19

this is great idea. Overall cool game

daryaardo 2022-10-08 18:47

I want to mention the music and graphics that create a cool atmosphere! Good job)

For some reason I wasn't able to play and vote. Play-wise the controls are not working :( Esc is working well, but movement isn't possible in the build on itch. Vote-wise it's just not on the page.

As well it would be nice to mention what was done in scope of jam and what was done after it.
