This, for me, was an unintentional rage game. I was determined to see it through to the end. The later levels require big brain strategy, and forethought as to where each character would be able to land for the future. Tough, but good! (Proof I saw it through to the end)i survived.PNG
Nice game! The jumping felt a bit floaty, but I really liked the core idea. It was fun having to jump while moving to keep platforms up, but also be careful to dodge the holes in the ground :O)
I liked the idea of switching between characters that handled differently, but I did kind of struggle with how floaty the jumps were, maybe because I'm not great at difficult platformers. I think the core idea is a good one - you could have a lot of interactions between the two characters based on when they freeze (e.g. jumping off each other).
Fun game machanic and levels need too focus, I like it picasso
Impressive entry especially considering this was the compo and you made it with SDL It was rather challenging but fun to strategize what order to use my peops in :) the-end.png
Nice platformer. Its a good challenge with a decent number of levels, and they weren't too long as to be frustrating. I like how the sand blocks worked. It was a fun challenge to get both characters across them. My main issue was the moving platforms felt quite buggy.
Very good, concise project. I'm impressed by all that you've been able to do in 2 days. The platforming challenges work well and it was fun giving a bit of thought to strategy. Too bad the controls were like 90% responsive, causing me to fail a few times. Managed to make it to the end, it was not that difficult. Music and visuals work well. I like the layered background.
