Nice take on the TD with the 3 types.
That said, I didn't find any other strategy that worked outside spam the surrounding with a little of everything...
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD51 → Defend The Orb

I like the concept here. The graphics are clean and the game is relatively easy to understand. It is a bit "snowbally" however. The difficulty doesn't seem to increase over time and once the screen is filled with "turrets" nothing gets even near the core. At least not for the time that I played. Over all very well done in 48h!
@thesnide & @mstrp Thanks for playing! Yeah, not much strategy. I only had about 6 hours over the weekend to work on this so I didn't get nearly much done as I had wanted. I'm hoping to eventually add a lot more balance and reasons to reposition the defenders for better strategy.
Great entry! I won't mention the things you already know, so here's some stuff you and others haven't discussed: - I think it'd be nicer UI-wise if the turrets didn't push others until placed - Some indication that drag-n-drop is the mechanic for placing turrets would be great - Scaling the difficulty further would offer more room for replayability
I got to score 300 on 69 hp, :tada:
