Interesting game, I loved the concept! Sadly there is a door that didn't work and stuck me forever in ones of Fred's room. But I very liked the idea and the art! Well done!

The idea of constantly switching between combat and puzzles is quite an interesting concept, kind of like chess boxing. Having some kind of indication of how much time has passed would have been useful, I think. That would help with sort of preparing for the switch back to combat particularly.

With more time and some polish, I think you could have done some really interesting things by having multiple things in the puzzle room affect the combat in the other room and vice versa.

Great concept! There's a huge mental switch every time the players switch. It would be great to have a low-intrusion countdown so you can get ready for the swap.

Thank you for the comments so far! Your ideas for improvement make a lot of sense and were planned to be integrated but had to be scrapped because of time issues

The game never ended for me after I finished level 2 and both guys were in the door. It just swapped one more time to Fred, I killed all the enemies, and it was just stuck there - with me looking at Fred that was shooting at nothing forever. And the pause menu doesn't work - nothing in it is clickable in any way that I could find, you can just escape out of it.

It is a very fun concept. Switching roles on the fly can be challenging in a good way, and somehow it is very immersive. Great work on that

The game itself requires some polish. Some more animation for our heroes, so they don't feel so stiff. Some more visual/audio feedback on the actions. Would also be nice to redesign the colors of our heroes. Right now they sort of melt into the background (as they are dressed in colors similar to the environment) - dress them in greens and violets, give them metalheads' black t-shirts with horned vikings ;), make them distinct, and they will be immediately more appealing.

With more levels and some paint on top, I think that this concept can really work

I liked the idea of switching between combat and puzzles, but it felt pretty awkward to play. The puzzles felt too easy, so the combat felt more unbalanced. Also, it stopped working after the second level.

Sadly unable to make it work on MacOS with apple silicon :/
