Please allow me to restart from a fail state without refreshing the page. Also, I had a moment where I clipped through the ground when I touched a robot at full stability. Was that intended?

@michael-faragher Thank you for the feedback! It turns out the Restart button on the lose screen could be below the screen on certain resolutions, so that has been fixed. Thank you for letting me know! Also, yeah, I intended it to be possible to clip through the ground when losing any stability just so the game feels extra unstable at points.
Nice small game, can you get even damage from the enemies? I can just rush through...
After a few attempts I managed to save the horse!
The game is cute, I got stuck several times in platforms, but I finally managed to finish this game!
@emprime Thanks for checking it out! There's no damage in the game per se. Instead of damage, you lose stability which makes it harder to control eventually and could throw you off the side or clip you through the ground. I've been thinking of ways to make the stability more of a problem for players though. Maybe it should decrease by itself over time? Who knows? Too late for that now though! 🤷♂️
@silurus Thanks for trying it out! I'm glad you were able to save the horse! 🎉
Good job on submitting a game. Simple, but I enjoyed it.
really well made! I'd suggest polishing up the jump and movement but overall good concept and execution
This game is __good__
Love the style and how quick and simple it is to get into.
*spoiler* - The horse coming out of the stable was very funny - my favourite game ending of the jam so far.
Thank you for this, and I hope the dog is enjoying lots of wet food with the horse.
Cute graphics, and hilarious horse at the end! For the most part it didn't seem to become very unstable though, I never really saw the top bar decrease.
@johnsensei Thanks for checking it out!
@eldogg Thank you! Yes, the dog is enjoying a lot of wet food after that adventure!
@feesh Thanks for the feedback! I could definitely put more time into smoothing out the movement. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@greenxenith I've been thinking about making the stability decrease slowly over time as well as when you hit an enemy. It's too late to add that for the game jam unfortunately though. Thanks for playing!
I like the artwork
Cute game! The jump being linear rather than parabolic took some getting used to, but I got the hang of it and finished the game in the end :)
beautiful, I like the chonky dog
@bora-cun Thanks! It was fun to make!
@avareii Yeah, the jump is something that I would like to make smoother. Thank you for playing! :)
@brandon-hare Chonky dog is best dog
Is there a reason you chose to make the jump linear? It feels weird for Lilly to suddenly change direction at the peak of the jump. I really like the main character's art. The instability mechanic is not very prominent as you can mostly run straight through without any problems, but when I realized it was there I deliberately went all the way unstable to see what happened. It was actually pretty cool and kind of meta for the character to become unstable and launch through the map. That was done really well, it's just not very prominent until you get really unstable. Also the map is designed very intuitively -- I didn't get lost or anything like that, and you give the player space to master the mechanics before getting into the more vertical area. Some more prominent sound effects could go a long way, and a few more sounds or melodies in the music for variety. Well done!
@geojax Thanks for the feedback! No, there's not really a reason for the jump being linear other than not thinking too much about it in the time that I had. I'd like to rework it though so that it's parabolic, but I'll probably do that after the jam is officially over. I would also like the stability to decrease over time by itself so that it is more prominent, but I will also do that later! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I really appreciate the feedback!
The game is very fun! Save the horse at the end is very satisfying. You could really keep on with the project, add more levels and maybe power-ups. A way to beat the aliens would be nice too, maybe a bark attack.
Thanks so much @jpatchz!! Power-ups would be great! And a bark attack would be pretty helpful too. Thanks for the feedback!
