other than `z` instead of `space` being used for jump :) this was a fun game to play. Good luck.

i really liked the filtered out textures and character design, this reminds me of a PS2 game, with all these PS1 style games, maybe PS2 style games will be the new thing? anyways, you nailed the style

The graphics and the sound were really good and looked very nice. As you said it wasn't very fun, its really punishing and you have no lives or checkpoints, the character felt a little too sluggish, the explosions could be a little weaker since they just throw you away a lot, died a few times because of that. Overall it's a beautiful yet hard game with a unique style.

Stylistically this game knocks it out of the park, I live the character design and sounds. The world of the game seems to fit with what you were going for perfectly. As you mention, there doesn’t seem to be much connection with the Unstable theme, although I can see where it may have inspired the game. I found the controls finicky, it was difficult for me to jump where I wanted and stop on platforms. I was completely unable to use the grounded spell as an attack (I assume that is the intent, it sure did hit me a few times). Overall, I thought this is a really cool start for a game, just a bit short on the polish.

The world looks amazing and as soon as the music kicked in, I got really excited. Those beats rock! I agree with others though, the controls didn't feel too responsive and I feel like I just kept missing jumps and slowly going back up vertically with the leaves. The camera angles when Mr Fungi goes past the portals were well done, but I didn't get the point of them - first I thought they were checkpoints but sadly not.
