Cool concept, grim subject matter. Wish you could see your location on the map, I was struggling to find my way around...
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD49 → Schizophrenia

Thank you @ zazz0000 for your comment. It is indeed easy to get lost, but it is intentional. Disorientation and loss of reference are some of the disorders of schizophrenia. During GameJam, I took a lot of time to make such a big city just to put that forward.
Really liked the art and the world was nice and big, avoiding the red blocks seemed quite easy. I couldn't find the chicken at the end, I'm not sure if the map lines up with the level layout. Would have been nice to see more enemies build up as you get closer to the goal and a minimap with a dot. I didn't see any hallucinations, unless the red blocks are the hallucinations
Very interesting idea with a lot of potential to build on. It is not that fun to play though currently, since you're just walking around, but I can see this being more of an "experience" to gain some perspective from than a fun little game. Overall I like it though, good job!
I loved having to navigate the map myself. I noticed the player's movement is a lot faster when moving forward and to a side at the same time, you should normalize the vector. It was hard to see where I was going when moving downwards.
The map is nice and big! But because its so big it takes a long time to traverse which makes it really punishing when you lose. After collecting half of the items on the list its not really fun to have to restart, so maybe respawning the player but letting them keep their items would be better?
I thought the level design was smart. The streets were repetitive enough that I got lost if I wasn't paying close attention, but there were a few unique landmarks so I could keep track of where I was. Certainly made me feel disoriented at times, which fits the theme.
its a nice game. i wish there was some kind of a music or an ambient sound.
Thank you all, I take note of all your comments. I will continue the game by implementing the missing features and improving the graphics. Your feedback is precious to me.
nice game
