I thought the art was well done, the character was goofy looking and I liked the different size of enemies. The directional sound was also a nice touch. Falling damage and smarter AI would add alot to the game as well as some kind of visual goal. I found I could easily run around the enemies and jump off of huge ledges to easily make it to the end. Some music would also add a nice ambience. Great job!

@liammasters yeah, running past enemies was intended. At least, I liked the idea. Kind of like a speed run
The pixel art was great and the sfx were quite good.
I found the range on the players attack to be really short. You had to get really close to an enemy in order to be able to attack them, making it really not worth the effort. It was better to just avoid them.
Great work putting this together in 48h!
I like that you can run past enemies in some areas, and might have no choice but to them fight them in others. I can definitely see the potential for speed running the game which is cool.
I feel background music would have added to the atmosphere of the game, but the sound effects helped to make up for that.
