What could be more "in a loop" than dying 400 times???
Really awesome job on this. The tiles that reverse and send back, and the flipping of gravity- really good mechanics. The music too is good. Really substantial too when you have to listen to it a lot because you're stuck... in the loop...
My only issue was that dying had no cool down, which can hinder the player's endurance because it's just always go go go. It could also use some juice on the jumping, the movement, the death, gravity, etc. A small particle system when you do the flip, or when you jump, could go a really really long ways. Also it would be really good to give the player varying levels of jump (IE: longer if you hold jump longer). Common platform mechanic that makes the player feel more in control.
Otherwise good job. Solid game!
