Its really cool that you made all this in Scratch. Great job.

I feel that it has a potential, if it would be a story-based game. Like, you uncover the story by reading letters or something. The audio is quite chill!

This is pretty cool for a puzzle game, though I think a few more intricate levels would be nice.

Good work. I don't like scratch, but it was fine. Sadly the game stopped working after destroying a rock

very impressive the fact you used Scratch but where did you implement the theme of the game jam ?

fractal-flower-girl 2020-10-06 15:52

@feiko I made the cave loop so that as you explore you came back to where you started.

@fractal-flower-girl oh I see now I get it thanks

Cute little adventure. I liked having to type the name of the item to use, could see this progressing as the player is forced to type quickly or has many items with similarly spelled names

I Loved the background music!

Neat Scratch project. Background music fit the pixel art style. Controls worked well for moving in a loop. I could see building on this and creating more complex puzzles. I did encounter a bug the first time where it automatically gave me the pickaxe in the second room, yet it wouldn't let me destroy the rock.

This was really atmospheric and well put together.

Really Cute Lil Game.....Loved It...

Very cool idea! That was a good puzzle game! I liked the music, it was a cave style one, even though it was a little repetitive. If you want, I'd recommend you to try using a game engine to create your games. Take for example Game Maker Studio, it was my first engine that I've ever used when I started making games.

Good luck!

Nice ! Simple but efficient puzzle mechanics, it was cool to find all these tools and be able to type which one I wanted to try. I like the music too.

I actually never played a scratch game in a jam before. Nice job.
