Hey this game may not be in the state you wanted it in, but I think this has a solid foundation to work with. Honestly if the combat was a little more fleshed out I'd probably play it through again. Nice work!

I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection
A good foundation for a potentially interesting platformer. Yes, it's quite unfinished, but you could work from here. The mood is pretty good already. The movement feels alright, but a little slow. Speaking of which: The platforms are way too slow, half of the game is just waiting for a platform. Make 'em three or four times faster and the game would probably play very differently. Still, I played to the teleporter twice and enjoyed it somewhat. Is there already an ending to the game? When I respawned, there was only one enemy, so I guess there's some randomness within the level generation maybe?
Sorry to hear that you aren't happy with where the game is at but jams are hard and sometimes we don't get the time we want to finish things. Regardless you should be very proud of this entry, the pixel animations are great, the screen-shake feels perfect, and the dash :ok_hand: :ok_hand: :ok_hand: feels so good! I wonder if mouse controls were the way to go, perhaps holding down shift and moving in a direction would direct your dash to make it feel a bit more fluid to platforming but regardless it works for what it is. I love how when you fall off it feels like you're falling onto a new set of platforms.
This is a really nice foundation! Of course, there are some bugs here and there, but it's playable and looks like it could be real good with some more work :) Despite its' flaws it has great atmosphere!
Played your game. There were definitely some cool ideas like dashing which I loved. I would change characters movement speed for sure and maybe add some more "epic" events in the game but I guess for a game made in 3 days it's a nice foundation for something way bigger. I liked overall aesthetic and music too.
Audio for me is not good, but not bad.Fun factor is not high at this game, but maybe next time you will think more about that and it will be better.I like mood in this, game really I like it.Almost nailed that theme, but it still very thing what I imagine as this theme..
One last note: I always write down honest review, because everybody need that, not just nice craps with some bullshit, but sometime I will aperceite very good games. So if this review insult you, but use it well :) Anyway every game is counting so :)
eyyyy you included a dash in your game, that's bonus points the graphics are really neat the physics could be tweaked but the concept is really nice
Graphics are cool and I really liked dash mechanics!
