I liked the card-based gameplay and artwork a lot! I was having trouble beating the purple enemies, they kept healing and I couldn't do enough damage to offset. I think with some difficulty tweaking you have a great concept to develop!
@lychee yeah I agree, the difficulty needs a lot of balancing, I was hoping to get to work on it some but I ran out of time

The art is good and the RPG element may have taken a long time to program so I'm impressed with that. Using cards is a nice touch. I personally didn't see a strong representation of the theme here. Since there are a lot of games to go through in these Jams making a game that requires grinding will probably not get a lot of people excited to play. Nice entry though.
