YOU NEED TO TELL THE CONTROLLS, BUT I LOVE THE ARTSYLE :)
Art style is very appealing in this game. I did have to spam some controls to get a better understanding, but if you take some time it is fairly easy to get the hang of. Very fun game!
It would be nice if there were more instructions but the art is really cool!
I really liked the art style of the game, the sprites were well animated and the aesthetic of the game all really fit! It was pretty confusing to get the hang of to begin with but didn't take long to figure out! The character felt nice to control and the sword play was cool :) I liked all the enemies and overall thought it was a solid game! I'd love to see an update with sound and music
Not bad! The animations and art style are great (I especially like that goblin/orc sprite). Gameplay is simple, but it's cohesive.
The lack of audio really hurts the overall game IMO. You should add some juicy sound effects for the attacks, even if they're just made with [BFXR](https://www.bfxr.net/).
Anyways, nice job!
Hey!! That turned out decent!
I respond that way because I thought I was just restarting every time I started the level rather than progressing
WASD-movement, X-attack (yes it's clunky ;)
Step 1: Find the Key Step 2: Open the Chest Step 3: Leave the dungeon in a kind of dead end spot Step all: defend your buddy.
**There is an ending** (nice job creator) and it was actually a bit satisfying. Which, without sound or feedback was pretty impressive.
Great game if your first attempt, if not, I suggest you try to find some music and sounds to spice up the game, because your core game was pretty good, just not the feedback on sounds. Something as simple as a sword sound, chest sound, your friend getting hurt sound, and music. That would have made it a good-great entry.
Graphics: Nice job! Animated characters and teeth on the enemies. Fun: the clunky attack actually made the game very fun, nice Theme: check. Mood: Almost there, this is where music really makes the game.(anyone's music, doesn't have to be your own)
This game idea it's cool, but it could be improved. And definitely sound it's an important part of the game. I feel it a little easy as enemies would stack up and you kill them at one. Maybe you could add another dynamic for keeping him alive. For a game jam this is really good and nice work you did.

art is cool but I found this bug
Really cool game with stunning art style. The lack of audio kept me from getting a real feeling of the game. The gameplay itself felt unique so far in this LD and I liked it! You can make a nice story out of an experienced scavnger teaching his underling to get all loot and become stronger.
Good job
The game is cool, but the attack animation is a bit off-timed. When you attack character stops, and you often don't hit the enemy because of the delay.
Other than that, it became clear quite fast how to control it (I read the description), but a hint within the game would make it better.
Keep up the good work!
Just a bug report: There were some unusual graphical bugs on enemies when playing at a lower resolution (800x600).
The visuals are by far the highlight of this game!! Outstanding sprite work on characters, enemies, and the environment. Nice submission!
the game is really good I liked the art style but there are no enough details about what to do and I don't know why I always die for no reason but good game after all good luck
Nice idea and loved the art. Took me a while to understand how to exit the level. Attack animation is a bit long imo, especially the anticipation part. Nice work!
I really liked this for a couple reasons. It was a cute idea from the start and it kinda reminded me of running low level friends through dungeons in MMOs so they could finish a quest or something. One thing I really liked was that you're invulnerable (I think?) which makes you feel like you're super OP and can just swat the enemies away. It would have been less fun if you even took a little damage. I also liked that even though you can swat them away, you still have to be positioned right, so you can't totally zone out. Love the art too. Great job!
