Character animation is well done. The forest is huge and realistic. But I didn't know what I was doing; just running around collecting fruit until I eventually walked outside of the map. While the graphics are well done, lack of (almost) any SFX and constant 5-15 fps didn't help with the immersion.

@alaah

Thx for your feedback! it helps us a lot.

It's not a bad game but I find problems in the optimisation. The grass causes realentitation and I not hear any sounds or a menu in game, yet it's got potential.

brian-suarez 2020-04-22 01:16

@zasky ohh thx! We will consider it

Ah yes, the classic overambitious jam entry. Been there, done that. Pretty neat overall. But i'm excited too see what you guys can do if you try to create a small, focused experience because that could truly be great!

brian-suarez 2020-04-22 18:26

@sadsmile If able was a little ambitious xD, thanks for your comment! <3

Loved the atmosphere and cryptic clues! I played three times until my character went insane, but I could never find the white sage... The clue made me think that it would be atop the mountain, but all I found there was the sun tree and yellow root. Any bonus hints for how to find the white sage?

Great for a first entry! Looking forward to more :smile:

I see a standard UE TPS controller with a standard player model. This is not bad, but it is not good either. Are you the authors of textures and models? If yes, then good. The optimization is just awful. Visibility is 2 meters, in the frame there are 3 trees and grass, and my 1080ti levitates on it's fans. The arts are good. The music is good, I guess. All I heard is my fans.

To start I'm not a fan of scavenger hunt styled games so keep that in mind while reading this please :) The graphics are pretty nice and the atmosphere is definitely there. I think the whole page is laid out nicely.

The main menu buttons could use some more interactivity so I know what and when I can press the buttons. I think also choosing a more clear font for the buttons would help separate them from the title text and make them more readable.

Overall a pretty nice entry :)

Amazing graphics but a bit confusing gameplay. I guess it's me but I couldn't find any of the things unfortunately. The sounds were a bit artificial. Some background noise and fade in / fade out would help to make them more natural. I did enjoy the environment really but was missing some music to add to the mood. Overall, you did a really great job with the graphics but some user experience hints and diversified gameplay could make it even better. Thank you for creating it!
