Player gets destroyed even when I collide with the blue box. Intentional?
Yes
Neat game mechanic. The controls feel kinda clunky but overall good.
I really like the concept here - even with the short game, I had a few pleasant moments of "Oh, that's how you do it" when figuring out a puzzle. I did find the controls difficult to use - I think it would be improved by making them a bit more snappy - faster to get up to full speed/stop and not having jumps float so far. I also suspect that the isometric perspective wasn't doing any favors for the player - jumping on to a platform was a bit difficult, and the WASD controls didn't line up with the cardinal directions of the screen. I could definitely imagine this expanding into a very interesting game though.
I like the core mechanic, but the controls are really clunk and the physics values could be tuned to offer a better game feel. Good job, I feel I would want to buy a improved version.
A simple and somewhat entertaining mechanic. It's a shame there weren't any sound effects.
Sometimes jump wouldn't work for some reason, which made it a bit troublesome to complete some of the levels.
With some polish, sfx, and more levels, I could see this making a popular mobile game!
I liked playing this game. It can definitely benefit from adding a background sound, or even sound effects when a player lands on a platform or collides with the blue or red blocks. I really like the graphics, and that fact that looked like it was on a keyboard key, I also like that there were directions on the key.
It's a nice idea to develop, the game mechanic was fun. Missed some sound effects. Good job!
Simple but effective! very well done! More levels and some cool music would take it to another level (LOL). And the instructions maybe for the first 3 levels only... it's not that hard.
Thinking of good puzzles for a 3 day jam is very chalenging. It would be geart to see an expantion coming soon...
good game!
PD: the controls in the web version may be the clunky ones... but I played it anyway. I didn't download it.
It's a cool game. I've successfully passed all the levels. Maybe it's better to add some sounds. Control was a bit hard at first, but soon I got used to it. Good job!
Your reviews means a lot to me....... Thank u guys
It is a nice idea and I like the game. With added sound, polish and game balance, this could be a really good game. Well done!
Not a bad one but not a good one either. The artwork is elegant. I do not like the current control though. What about mapping controls to the numeric keys? For me it was not obvious in some levels what I supposed to do. Like in the previous one I simply had to go through the map and in the next one I did the same avoiding the chasers from a side then I fall down at the other end of the map and the level was restarted. Ah, so I supposed to kill them all! It turned to be yes. That is maybe me only but I prefer to keep chasers alive too if possible.
I like the quick gameplay loop of try-die-try, however I died much more often than I feel like I should have because I was still moving back or jumping and went off the stage. Also, the physic material should be set so the player can slide up and onto platforms instead of sticking to them. Overall, though, I like this type of game, and think it's a solid effort, particularly for a compo entry
I like the concept but it was near impossible since the game kind of refused to register jumps. I had to spam space for it to just sometimes jump. I got a few levels in still, and I think it could be an interesting game if the controls were just a bit more responsive.
I think what I like the most is the way the difficulty only slowly ramps up, very smooth.
The feel of 'clunkyness' is, I think, in large part due to the fact that the overhead view is isometric, making the cardinal directions (up, down, left, right) not map to the same (up, down, left, right) on the screen.
Sound effects are easy to make with online tools like [Bfxr.](https://www.bfxr.net/) (requires flash!)
