I like the concept, but its a bit hard to get into. there's a lot of UI elements covering the screen and things are zoomed in so much, that finding the right path is pretty much trial-and-error. I know that your life is currently draining, but I don't see the "currency" parallel there. Some sound/music would help too, even if it's just blips.
@shaolin-dave Hey, the idea is that you exchange your lifetime (the blood you have left) for abilities (knife, dash and protection) I agree that the camera should probably be a bit zoomed out (it is in the boss level and it feels more natural in my opinion) Thanks for your feedback ! Also I have some sound effects, did it not work for you (or maybe I did not understand what you meant) ?

Loved the fact that you had managed to build so many levels to your game, good job! The gameplay was simple yet hooking, maybe some fixes on the UI and overall visuals but other than that a great entry!

Cool boss, but I wish you didn't have to watch the intro more than once.
@kultisti Thanks a lot, the feedbacks really help ! :) @donitz Thanks, I agree, I thought so too but I didn't have the time to do it (I would've needed to advance the music to keep the boss and the music synced and while it probably is possible, I did not have the time to dig into this sadly :( ) I would definitely work on that in the case of a future version ! Thanks a lot for your feedback !
I dont get it, every powerup just kills me
@jofersgames You have to find the castle before your life is depleted. You exchange your life for powerups, but it's a doubled-edged, as it uses your lifetime. To get your life back you must aspire the blood of slimes :)
Interesting concept. Got to the final boss on my first playthrough but got stuck in a wall near the top-left.

I got how to play it, but third level looks unbeatable. Or im too slow
@mrstari Thanks a lot ! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
@team-on Make sure to kill slimes and take their blood every time you cross them ^^ If you choose the path on the right, Make sure to dash as much as you can, if you choose the one on the left, using protection and killing every slimes gets you through without trouble.
Just make sure not to turn circle when arrived at the top (the castle is right at the top, after the 2 paths collide) :) The level 4 (the green one) is pretty hard though (it's sort of a labyrinth) The boss level is not too easy, but I'd say the level 4 is even harder (In terms of difficulty I'd say (1<2<3
Maybe getting the camera further from the player would help (I'd definitely do that if I make a post-jam version), but in case, you can choose the level in the menu to directly play a certain level in you struggle too much in one Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback :)

Hello! It's me, Kritz. I tried hacking 'n slashing my way through the first level with spamming "X" but that didn't work for me. But what did work was Dashing once and speedrunning through the first level.
Second level, thanks to my Plat IV League of Legends mechanics I was able to one-go the level by dodging all the enemies.
The strats stopped working on the 3rd level, I tried dashing through the right side, but crashing into a huge slime. I think that might of been an elite mob that I tried to add in my game but ran out of time and didn't add. Now it's coming back to haunt me in another game... From that moment, I realized that I need to combine my hack 'n slash strat and dashing strat together to win the whole game. But sadly I couldn't find the courage to go back to the right side to fight the elite mob... so I went left and died a painful death instead.
On a serious note though, sweet game, see you around in the next Jam. Thank you so much for your kind words @Inferture in the comment section of our game. My designer was thrilled to see your words and here I am to play/rate your game.
Best regards.
@kritz haha thanks for the laughter !
It's important not to overlook good design decisions when they are made ^^
See you around in the next jam !
liked the game, but how many enemys stayed in the way in small corridors felt more like luck than skill.
