It's really great! Meaby a bit too hard at some points, but great none the less

Cool music, interesting idea. Blood runs out too quickly. Monotonous levels.

I couldn't move a meter (some pixels in fact) in the first level :( is that a bug or something ?

teemu-pulkkinen 2019-04-30 11:41

@draedrus That sounds odd to me (I made the code). As I just tested it again and was able to finish the current build. Were you able to move at all? It's a gameplay mechanic that you move using your health, and if health ends, you die. Arrow keys should respond as moving in different directions.

Really great game. The art and animation are really good (If I have to be critic, it is difficult to have a sense of depth). The music and gameplay is also nice but it is really difficult as the health really decrease too quickly maybe a more slow decrease/and slower recover could balance it a bit more nicely. Other than that really good entry ! good job!

@teemu-pulkkinen Yes but I had to hit the keys a lot, the ratio bloodlost/meter was harsh, so if I pressed the key a second roughly I died. Is that intended ? Here we thought about something related to framerates but maybe not :(

The character animations was the only good thing about this. It's slidy, the levels look mishmashed together and it controls poorly.

@draedrus I am sorry that you feel like the difficulty level of the game is very steep. If we get plenty of comments about it, we might adjust it a bit lower eventually. But from designer's perspective we felt like the game length compensates well for the amount that you can move at one time. The game has only 4 levels in the end so it isn't that long.
