Really enjoyed this one. Controls felt unnatural at first but as soon as you played the first 2 levels, you get used too it. I loved that you were able to include the boss. Sadly there is sth. wrong there...maybe some colliders from a first time trying to defeat him stay put? As when I die once I will get hit by seemingly nothing on the next tries (like just jumping before doing anything reduces my health). Otherwise pretty nice.

Nice entry ! It has a simple concept that fits perfectly the theme. I found the game way easier with no upgrade, i'm not sure if that's intended. It was nice to have a boss to defeat, with attack patterns to learn! Congrats to the team !

@tiffi Oh, maybe I forgot to actually call the dispose method in the bossfight. I'll fix it when I get home. Thank you for pointing it out.

This was great! My favourite little detail were the bouncing arrows. They were so fun to play with. I liked the Boss it made the whole game feel completed. The fight was quite tough but after a few tries I managed to beat him. I was a bit sad that my wife ran away from me screaming "MONSTEEEERR" but it made me laugh at the same time! I was just excpecting some generic ending, well done!

What an extremely polished games you guys made. I love the small things like the bouncing arrows, skippable dialogue and fading between scenes. The arrows even stick to the devil in the boss fight! Really impressive boss fight mechanics too. The one thing I would love is if there was some short delay before the dialogue was skippable, I accidentally skipped the final dialogue because I was mashing keys to beat the boss.

Other than that, superb submission. Don't forget to play other people's games, this one deserves to get rated!

Enjoyed playing this, controls were a bit awkward but the gameplay felt pretty smooth. Could maybe have been slowed down a tad. You had some cool sound effects, but the shooting sound did get a bit annoying after a while. The combat was fun, required good timing on several occasions. Some of the art was really good as well, though overall a bit uneven.

That was great. Nice simple platformer but well polished and and some good additional mechanics. I had a much easier time once I mapped my gamepad to the controls. The enemies were very hard to hit. It was much easier just to run past most of them. I also died a few times due to the game lagging for a second. Its great that you respawn instantly when such things happen though. Also as a lot of the platforms are higher up, you spend a lot of time off the top of the screen which is not ideal. The bow was by far the best weapon of the three. The multiple endings were a nice touch.

Finished it! I found that getting the speed boost and speedrunning through the levels double jumping over enemies was optimal strategy. Game fit the theme very well, controls and weapons felt right and there were nice touches of polish like seeing arrows stuck in enemy boss. Could have done with more enemy variety. Feedback regarding the parallax scrolling; the background sprite was moving faster than the foreground sprite, should be the other way round, this way looked off and was disorientating.

Love it!

Graphics are great, gameplay is tight and it fits very well into the theme, and there were even 2 endings. Really good job!!!

After I first finished the game, had to play it again without any upgrades to see the other ending :D

Only complaint I would have is that the enemy projectiles don't collide against the walls and sometimes it's superhard to avoid.

Keep up the awesome work! :)

Nice Twist, I didn't kill the boss at this time, I have to retry. Your game need a music for sure. Enemies are hard to shot but I didn't try missiles yet.

cool entry. i like the way you drew the sprites, very dope. very clever use of the theme and i like the two endings thing. olaf is a cool dude.

gamewolves 2019-05-21 05:26

@goog @multiplexor Just so you know. We implemented four endings for each amount of upgrades you can get. ;)
