it's very slick, loved it, congratz
Very cool idea! Hadn’t thought about that! hehe :P :top:
Cool story and pretty nice gameplay. Good balance too :)
Great game, very engaging and a brutal story. I also love the art style and the music, however if I was being supercritical I would say to have more variety in the music, again though being super critical. There were 3 occasions where I had no food and nobody died as well, but aside from that amazing game. Fantastic job and good luck!
Nice idea and a good mood. Not sure if it was possible to finish without dying? Now my last character just died without me being able to anything about it...
@michal @isaque-picao-sanches @johnnyginard @juliensnz thank you very much! @roka-josh I'm glad you liked our game! Talking about food, they aren't supposed to die immediately after your food reaches zero but in the next time the food is required. @arzi thank you. In some previous version I've seen people managing to get pretty everyone to the end of the route, not sure if it's possible to save them all right now though. For now a few can get to the end if you're lucky enough with the events and taking the right choices regarding to your food and time.
I feel shadow of death while playing this game, very impressive!
Wow, I love the atmosphere in this game! This reminds me of an old game "The Oregon Trail", but this is waaay darker! For some reason, I can't press "Search for a way around" button when the game asks me whether I want to cross the lake.
@anper Thank you! @bootak Well I know this decision is a little bit odd but that's how it should work. Don't ask me, I did the art thingy. :owl:
Nice one, very atmospheric and it plays very well
Great use of theme! Great art! It seemed like some of the actions were deterministic rather than random, like I'd get the same result of seeing the same event. I'd love to see more diversity of results.
An amazing project I played here. The gameplay is really unusual and immersive - I was with them, making choices, trying to find an escape (which I have never found). The slowly and minimalist animations fits with the game - and mood is incredible - graphics gorgeous. I would like to ask you - is there an alternative end? Thank you. One of my favorite entries for the 43rd LudumDare. Well done ++
Wonderful game. The atmosphere was riveting. I loved the synth work, the bassy whomps cutting through the tension built up by the droning, detuned leads. You also managed to do a lot while doing very little in terms of animation and set design, which was impressive.
I did lose some people to the lake because there was a bug I couldn't select the option to go around. :/
