The enemies not moving you away or giving i frames when they damage you makes dying really suddenly from nearly full health a problem. The gun aiming is iffy on keyboard and without starting at the alter it's tough to have any idea where you should bring a goat. The theme is also a bit weak as there's no reason to not sacrifice the goats, it's the objective and makes you stronger. If you had starter with every power and lost them as you sacrificed goats it could have been more interesting, but that would also have been very easy to cheat.

@scarfdev Thanks for the feedback! I definitely noticed some of those things, but ultimately I did playtesting too late in development and wasn’t able to fix them.

cool game, a little too hard to play, i can't aim lol. some story would be cool. level design is nice, liked it!

@tosunami Thanks! I noticed that it was really difficult after submitting it. I guess that's what I get for putting off fully play testing the game until the end of the compo.

Apart for hard to aim, it's also very hard to jump using the space bar.

I got only 2 goats before I gave up. My hand was cramped using this alternative keyboard controls.

I like the idea and I'd probably consider both the aiming problems and the jumping as game-breaking bugs and let you fix it within compo time. :smile:

I'd like to finish the game but it really is too hard for me right now. Perhaps fix the game with auto-aim :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, nice idea, nice level design, nice graphics.

Very tricky to control, if you can spend more time on the basic movement and actions a bit it would make for a better impact
