Looks a bit intimidating, but quite fun to play, tough I couldn't rebuild on top off a already use block, and had no idea when I was able to rebuild more or how many blocks I have to build with. I tried just pure speed on my second run, but ran into battle and lost, but on my last attempt I got to like 80% of the way. I do like these sort of games, I enjoyed it

Interesting game! I liked the general mood, and the intro was cool, but the gameplay seemed pretty easy once I worked out which components were needed for each event.

This was really unique compared to every other LD42 game I've seen so far. I love the strategic gameplay. The only thing I would change is to be able to replace parts instead of having to delete them and place in new ones. Other than that its a really fun game. Well done!
Nice idea and I like the ambition of letting the player design their own ship, needs more events for sure, but a really good start!

Very unique idea! I really like solution with ship design with many systems that useful for each events. Keep it up!
The game fits in pretty nicely together graphics wise. For 48 hrs pretty good job. Can use better audio and a bit challenging gameplay
Very original idea! I love your ship creation system, good job to being able to make this in 48h!
The only comment I would have would be to *warn* the player to what he needs to do in order to protect himself for the events (ex: the poison nebula, just write in the description something like "(...) let's home our Life systems will be able to endure this"). It's my humble personnal opinion of course

I like your pixelart style but add the html5 build, please.

A good game idea, the music should be improved. The graphics are good. Try our game too, maybe you'll like it)

Thanks for the great feedback guys! :)
@andrey-ugolnik I've added the link to itch.io, where the web build is hosted. However there are some small UI problems, so I still recommend the Windows build. :eyes:

For everyone that played the web build, the UI should be fixed now! :)
Wow, this is a seriously impressive entry. Short of some UI bugs in the ship building mode (editing while en route seemed to break regularly, fixable by exiting the edit screen and executing a turn), everything here is _very_ solid. The gameplay was both unique and fun, the story short but interesting and at least engaging enough for a compo game, the music was really quite good (I'm totally using that tracker in the future), and the mechanics were solid and well implemented. Really, I just wanted more!
