It's kinda dark, but concept of turn based-horror is good. At the first time I didn't realized what killed me
It's short but it works. The fact that the audio indicates what side the enemy is at is nice. The window should be square though, because right now you can see more horizontally than vertically without any reason. The player has the advantage of sprinting, so the enemy should also have an advantage that the player has to overcome. Perhaps some walls could be vents that only he can walk through.
Nice, I like the idea, but the game is "too bright"… I mean, even if it's dark, you can still easily spot the monster from far away… You could tint each tiles with a gradient of black (ex: pitch black for tiles that are 5 blocks away from the player's position) a bit like Minecraft lighting system. To help the player with the monster's location, you could display it's footstep with a text or a ripple on the penumbra, the closer is the monster, the bigger is the footstep.
Anyway, this is a nice game, well done.
