I think this is a fun concept but I had a really hard time with the first level. I kept having to shoot randomly off of the sides of the screen when the ball stopped just off the edge and I couldn't see it. The bullets seemed to hit the ball really hard as well so it took a long time for me to beat the first level. I really wanted to use WASD to control the ship, having to move the mouse around just to inch to the side to line up a shot was difficult and having side and back arrows would really help the controls.

Nicely done of course! Thoroughly enjoyed the stream, and it's nice to see & play the finished result! It's mildly challenging to control the character movement, but otherwise a very nice entry! Job well done!

This concept definitely has potential. It's certainly a great fit for the theme. I was really looking forward to trying it when I saw the screenshots because my dad's a big golfer and he likes to mess around too and play lawn golf and do trick shots while drinking beer. So this game is right up my alley. But the execution falls short in a few ways. Not having audio really hurts the immersion. And the controls are quite difficult. It'd be one thing if the game was challenging due to obstacles, like mini golf. But there were several times when I was lined up perfectly and missed the hole by a mile at point blank range. Not a bad entry overall, but could use some work.

The graphics were really cool and I like the concept. The controls were a little unintuitive at first and felt frustrating. The how to play shows that it's W to move, but i didn't realize at first that you only move up to the point of the reticle. There were times when i was trying to move into position along the edges or in corners, and was pressing W to move, but wasn't moving since the reticle was right on the player. I would have like to see it with WSAD to move and moving the reticle/mouse spins the player for aiming instead.

After completing both holes, there was a textbox to input name and submit, but I didn't see anywhere on the LD page or the itch page for viewing high scores, so not sure about that.

One question I have is why the player has to pickup the bullet item before they can shot. I was wondering if you had planned for different types of shots you could do, but only had time for the one pickup for the compo.

Overall good work, just need some polishing on the controls.
