Really, REALLY tough level. Those skeletons aren't messing around, either, and the floor after a bit might as well be lava. I was able to beat level 1 only ONCE in about 40 tries. The controller support really helped, but even with that, craaaaaazy hard. Would love to see some balance tweaks--and maybe a more gentle ramping up of the difficulty over several initial levels--and more levels and bosses. And I liked the artifact/key mechanic; wouldn't mind seeing more key/lock bits and other puzzles in new levels! I heard you had an inventory screen, too, but I never saw it...? Might have to play again and see--would be nice, imo, to have that info all on the same screen, available at a glance. Music was VERY fitting; would love some spooky sound effects, too!

I had a lot of fun hopping around trying to figure out what exactly I was supposed to be doing. The boss was too easy, could have used more bullet hell for an extra challenge.

The music was really good, it set the tone well for the scene, especially the boss music.

Overall, great job!

I went through the first level thinking it was done and then BAM, boss fight! Nice, enjoyed this one :)

The boss was originally planned to be much harder, but Monday was a day I had school, so only I could work on the boss fight, and I'm not the greatest at level design. @gyfis: Thanks! We were originally going to have bosses have a more prominent role in the game, but we had a lot to do, and a very, very limited time.

Nice game, the controls are ok, but the collision is to boxy as when you try to jump through a 1x1 field you get stuck as i think the player collision is also just a 1x1 square.

If its planned to get frustrating, its perfectly done, else i would change the platform sizes and heights to be more player friendly. The game at the moment doesn't allow any small mistake.

Really simple and hard, but playable I beat it in after a bunch of tries. I like it!. I know it was intended to be frstrating but maybe you can expand the width of some platforms and still being playable, also, some adjusts on the platform behavior variables will give it a better feeling.
