A pretty interesting theme, haven't seen anything quite like it yet this jam.
Interesting theme.
You might want to split the source code and build download though.
How many games there is in there xD. The "town" part isn't really sexy but does the job. The "BEGGING" game only consist on having to press space for a minute and it is not really fun. The "ROBBING A HOUSE" game is enough stressing, but may be to easy if you already have a good number. "DELIVERING PIZZA" seems a little buggy, I fell one time. Others minigames are good.
Seems hard to do that many little games in three days, congrats for that.
May be you could add some screenshots on your description.
We checked the pizze-problem. It only accures when you would have died anyways so the problem is not as big. But we will try to fix it.
The game looks fun, but unfortunately I keep encountering thieves and cannot move on. I also with the thief were easier to defeat, or could not attack as quickly--he kills me in about 5 seconds after landing a hit, and it would be nice to fight rather than run and hope he does not land a hit on em.
Dear Arthur, We considered your problem, we had the same thoughts and came to the conclusion that, in order to keep it realistic,it shall be very hard to escape a thief, cuz in real life you hardly stand a chance
Very interesting idea. The only event I found was "BEGGING", "ROBBING A HOUSE" and "ROBBING A PERSON". Robbing a person was too difficult, a slight touch on the keyboard and there goes the ball :p the other two events were easy.
Another thing, it took me a while to figure out how to walk.
Congratulations on making this game!
I played a couple of times, but I was about to give up on doing anything the first time. Basically the interactions is a bit odd. Having that grid to walk around at start, you really expect arrow keys would work. And I would have swapped the mouse buttons there too. The walking is a bit too slow too.
I got to play 3 minigames but the only one I completed was robbing the house. The ball-balancing was impossible, the begging, I didn't see any progress on when the minigame was over so I quit and restarted.
So I like the idea, but the interactions in and outside of the minigames needs work to make the game accessible. Unfortunately.
