I like it. There are some interesting mechanics going on; I like the fact that you can retrieve shots, which makes you think about where to place them. It's dark and moody, and the pixel art is nice.

It can be quite difficult to see what's going on and where I should be going. I'm pretty sure I got stuck at some point, after getting the weapon upgrade, because I just didn't know where to go.

Edit: Finished it now. The ending animation is a nice touch!

I like the concept of the game. You have a good idea, the limited amount of ammo makes the experience very nerve wracking sometimes and the monster screams are pretty scary (in a good way!). The art is good and I like the atmosphere. Not being able to kill the monsters in the beginning can be a bit off setting given how fast they can run. I would make the monsters a bit slower as if they run up on you it is nearly impossible to dodge them. Also it is not entirely clear where to go sometimes. You may want to add an indicator arrow to point where the objective is. It was a fun experience! Good job!

Quite an impressive game. :grin: I spent a lot of time not really knowing quite what I was doing wrong or how to get past an obstacle, but there weren't any I couldn't overcome, which shows a solid piece of game design! The atmosphere was also well crafted. You definitely need to get some more ratings on this! (Remember to play other peoples games so that yours appears higher in search results)

A post jam version of this game I think would be really cool, and there are definitely ways you can expand it not just in terms of content, but more importantly also in terms of mechanics. Very well done!
