Fun idea, some sound effects and or music probably would make it more interesting
I could not really find the right balance, but I like the idea. I probably would have had an easier time grasping it in the first run, if Oxygen levels were visualized somehow (think of Diablo health bubbles for example) Same goes for energy.
I like the idea. Having visual feedback on the screen would have been nice. eg: pollution appears when O2 is low; having lights in the building that diminish in intensity when battery is on, etc...
