VR Games on LD, awesome! Gonna try and rate this, hopefully it works with HTC Vive?
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD38 → UFO GO HOME (VR)

Sorry, Oculus Rift only! My goal was to try out the Oculus Avatar SDK this LD (that's why it has the fancy ghost hands).
Whoo! More Oculus games! I'll give this a play and rate in a bit. Looks good :)
Would love if you gave my Rift game a play too: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/palm-pilot
Amazing job! Just everything is great!
I am very sorry, but I couldn't rate your game because I do not have an Oculus. But the graphics do look amazing. Hopefully enough people can play this game because you deserve it. All the best!
**Works with HTC Vive using revive!**
The game looks great and plays well in VR but there isn't enough to do. The missile arcs are beautiful to look at and the characters are really cute. A game like this needs to be hectic, and at the moment it's not.
Good job!
Too sad I can't play your game because I don't have an occulus :worried:
Very impressive!
Graphics are very nice, and I'm impressed at the polish. Watching the missile trails as a UFO gets shot down is very satisfying.
One minor bug: the missiles in the launchers seem to get rotated to funny angles. I'm uncertain of the cause.
The main issue is that there is not enough to do. Once your guys are set up on the missiles, you can pretty much just watch. The accuracy of the gas shots is very poor, and the lasers don't damage your people. Giving the player more things to do would be nice.
Also, making some of the clutter objects grabbable is always a nice touch in VR games. I found myself reaching for the crates and such, trying to fill my downtime. More physics interactions is always nice, and a major benefit of the Oculus hands is that it feels more like you are there. Not being able to do anything but grab the men feels like a missed opportunity.
Finally, I'd recommend using grips instead of triggers for picking things up - it seems to be the standard with Oculus Touch, while triggers are more of a Vive thing.
Finally got some time to play this!
Beautiful! Love the level of polish you achieved. The gameplay left me wanting more; I think a future version with more weapon options and things to do would be incredibly fun. Good job.
Nice!!! Very nice art   !!! Amazing game !!! Pls check out my game (I don't have enough ratings :worried: ) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/ghost-cat !!!!
