Oh. It seems we can't pass the loading screen...
Did that happen on the main menu/web build? The new game button should play a sound effect and start the game a few seconds after.
Its the first time anyone had this problem.
My bad, it was an adblock problem, sorry about that :(
While I did not really get the gameplay - I could click on the three warriors and activate the special powers on the right but what exactly was the result? - and was as a consequence being defeatet rather quickly by this lovecraftian horror, I'd say the graphics and sound effects are very nice and fit together well. Not bad, but might need some more hints what happens onscreen.
@zondarg
Thank you for the review and the kind words! :)
Yes at the end of the second day, when I had to write a whole blog post about how to use skills/what they do and so on I realized that the interface turned out not that informative :( sadly I did run out of time to deal with that in the game.
For the time being you can read the mentioned forum post and eventually I'll get around making a post jam version of this for sure :)
@la-mecanique-du-plastique Thank you for playing/sharing the reason of the problem! :)
Very interesting! I certainly needed to read the blog post to appreciate how detailed the mechanics are here. There's a lot to keep track of in this game, and the player is expected to have a long-term plan even as they frantically tap things. As I learned, knowing when to drop the big cooldown abilities can make the difference between victory and defeat. Nearly learned, that is. I got the boss to negative HP, but apparently my party getting wiped out registered first. Seems I broke my arm punching out the Eldritch Horror. Incidentally, I love the voiceovers - they really add a lot of flavor to the game. Overall, it was a memorably hectic experience.
@piscythe First let me thank you for taking the time to give feedback! (Even if I do it a week late) It definietly made my day :) Also I would like to congratulate to you as far as I'm aware you are the only player who managed to get him below 0% so far! It is sadly a game where you are not suposed to win, by "killing" the monster you turn on a permament high damage dot until you die, sorry about that :P
