Considering it's a jam entry, this isn't a particularly good game. The controls don't do what I expect them to at all, with random sheening to the sides even when I try to go straight forward. The turning happens at such a speed that I get completely disoriented.
And the gameplay only consists of making small model buildings fly around to make a number go up on screen. Without any sort of opposition, as far as I could see at least, the game just feels like it has no goal, and the mechanics alone aren't engaging enough on their own.
This game needs a lot of polish and fleshing out, because right now it feels like an early prototype, not a finished 3-day team effort.
I could't destroy the buildings, just hit them. I liked the missils, it add some difficult to the game, but it could be more things in order to make you feel tht you have to have a strategy.
As a jam entry it is somewhat less complex compared to others, although as always, congratulations on making a game. Making anything is an accomplishment. :)
What the game misses? I'd say a tutorial, as the game is confusing on controls of the camera and the game. Of course you can always add more depth, improve generator of the cities, etc ... but every jam has some time frame and you have to fit in it.
congratulations to make a game I like your concept good job
The momentum of the ant's movement was comfortable and the idea itself was very interesting although I got bored very fast and I kinda felt like there was no difficulty to this game. It was pretty funny to see big cities getting stomped in the ocean :D Here is our game(I'm not the one who published it directly, so you can't just click on my account): https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/plutiny
This is a fun little game, that is easy to understand and therefore also easy to play. The graphics is super simple, but okay for this game. The music you use is really good, and it fits the game very well. Overall this is a fine LD game.
Twas a fun little physics sandbox, if perhaps not the deepest game. I eventually stopped seeing any more stuff to destroy though. Did I win or was that a bug?
@lord-bobyness There is no end game for the moment ^^' The cities does normally rebuild itself. Idk :/
It was stupid, but funny. And I don't get why people build the highest towers in the middle of the ocean, but if you ask this question, you should ask yourself, why a gigantic ant is running over the earth.
