I love this take on battleship. I enjoyed the cooperation between the textual and visual elements of the game. The fact that someone on the outside is relaying information to you makes it even more interesting. What's strange is that when I moved one of my men to a spot that already had one of mine, it combines them. When one platoon was destroyed, both of them were. Other than that, was great!
Cool game design. I ended up winning, but using the pusher was a bit cumbersome. Also, when I played full screen resolution (1440 x900), the input box text was hidden. It was all guesswork when I was inputting commands. Some improvements and this could be very cool.
Definitely, a unique game idea, though I struggled to figure it all out.
Fun Fact: I tried to make a game about a war room initially, though mine ended up far too complicated, and I had to kill off that project.
