pretty good
This one's okay, it's unique, I can give you that. Overall it was nice, I stayed for the whole thing and enjoyed the story. As for fun, there really wasn't much to do and the investment was kind of low. I still would rate this higher than some other entries, but I feel it definitely needs more work.
Really funny game. Love that the narrator interacts with the game character. Overall nice game. Keep it up!
Really nice
I really enjoyed this game, mainly because of the great voice acting and humour in the narration, and how well the game's message fits the theme. However, it would be improved with maybe branching story paths (if there wasn't) and more just misc. fun stuff while waiting. Something like a bouncy ball to knock around. Overall, 8/10 for game jam :).
More listen, than play, but with a bit of imagination it becomes an interesting experience. Nice job!
Seems interesting, but there's too little interactivity. Could use some additional props to play around with while the narrator is narrating.
An extraordinary story which made me question my lyfe. I'm really looking forward to more narratives from you.
But it's been long since I've seen cutscenes so heavily inspired by Assassin's Creed 1. In fact it's almost a visual novel. I wish there was more gaemplay.
I think there's a plothole: the narrator said that the cube was meant to be used in an another gaem, but later he said that the script wanted Brian to hang himself using that cube.
Hahahaha. Great humor.
I did it, I JustQuited! Game pretty good, i like psychedelic genre, nice work :)
An interesting game, and a nice take on the theme.
The dialogue/story was interesting, I loved that both the main character and the narrator were fully voice-acted! :)
The streches between "interaction-points" was rather long though. More separate triggers (and perhaps even some branching) would make the story even more interesting for the player :) And perhaps some kind of visual cue, making it clear when the dialogue is spoken by Brian rather than the narrator, would make the story easier to "parse" as well.
The art-style was also nice - simple and clear.
All in all, it was a interesting and unique game, with an fun take on the theme :)
So this came up when I searched for "stanley" :) I enjoyed it, and nice writing! The duration was maybe a tiny bit too long for this purpose, and I would have liked to make more choices. But you made me feel sorry for Brian at the "meta ending" :O Good job!
