Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description. (you can already find several games from the jam there)
Cool pixel art and game feeling <3 it looks like a game boy advance game!

That's nice. The game is smooth and dynamic. Bats are absolutely awful :p
The graphics are great, and the music is at least as good.
Some colors and instruments remind me the Atari ST and the YM2149.
It must be nicer with another player.

Cannot say enough about this game. Well polished. One of my favorites.
Great game, I loved the art and music. I also made a game called Blunderbuss (though mine is compo), so I felt obligated to check this out. The game is very polished, great job!

Thought it was pretty good. I liked the decision to add the "hold-shoot-button-to-stay-pointed-in-one-direction." Sound effects could use a little more variety. I also recommend making the "you killed enemy" event juicier as well. The nice subtle stretch-and-squash effect would have been nicely translated to hitting an enemy as well.
