That art-style and UI really gives nostalgia, I love it. I couldn't actually complete a level, because the UP arrow didn't work. :( I will rate you in Graphics only and come back if you fix it. Great entry!

I don't know how we can't make focus on the game, but maybe if you zoom out the up arrow will work (sorry for that).
Thank you !

Very nice graphics, fast controls, the game is just beautiful! I liked all the details which make it feel like an old Game&Watch.
I had to scroll up for the butterfly part because my screen is not that big ^^

Nice retro game with overall good gameplay and responsive controls

czarsilvestrini 2016-04-19 14:08

At first i was like "whoa, this is cool", ten seconds later i was like"err.. what am i doing here?".

So to explain that, i really liked the idea of the DS it was really cool, the problem is that i had to scroll the page to be able to see the top part, which takes off my focus on the game. Even though you explained the objective of the game, it was still confusing but it may have been my misundertanding of the rules. The only reason i did not played more was because of dying in the butterfly stage and having to continue from the start. That is really frustrating.

So the innovation is fantastic, you just need to work the game design a little more.

Thanks for all your feedback.

CzarSilvestrini : we hesitated long about the respawn, but we thought that to start again from the beginning was closer to the original G&W.

After the judging time, I think I will make a post-mortem version with a - I hope - better game design. And a game that fit entirely in the page (don't forget to zoom out !).

Nice, a little bit difficult, but great concept, very original, nice graphics, the feeling of the game in general is cool, good job!

Nice retro style, but I couldn't use the up arrow, and scrolling up and down is annoying. Could you set up another key instead for UP and Down arrows which are used for scrolling the page content. cool entry btw!

Psychonull : I can do this with the spacebar, but is it forbidden because the time limit is outdated ?

glaze_96 2016-04-20 12:03

Really takes me back to the good ol' days!

Super fancy game, really like the graphics and feel! If only it had some chiptunes!

lanestp 2016-04-20 14:09

One of the most unique entries I have played. Great job! You really nailed the feel of an old Game and Watch. Awesome!

Good old days

sir-magic 2016-04-20 17:24

Like the art style of this game but the up arrows won't work

2016-04-20 18:26

The up arrows work when you're on the second screen, before, it do anything, don't worry

teamkuru 2016-04-20 19:23

Funny game! Controls feel like unconfortable like... a Game and Watch so it's OK! ^^

chrisantem 2016-04-20 19:39

For information, I replaced the up arrow by Ctrl.
The game has not changed otherwise.

rahulparihar 2016-04-20 23:03

Nice little game, reminds me of the good old games. Had fun playing this, wish there was more to the gameplay though. Good efforts, my man. :)

pestelcrew 2016-04-21 09:53

Yaay, old school! But too difficult :(
PS: Zooming out page helped a lot

kairosxiii 2016-04-24 16:10

Wow, love the style here. definitely captured the old school theme.

lereveur 2016-04-24 18:52

I like the old fashion LCD game graphics. Definitely needs some old sounds to get the old fashion mood, but well done anyway :)

linealgames 2016-04-25 15:53

Cool design and ideas but both game screens don't scale to the computer screen which makes it hard to play

11schotter 2016-04-30 20:59

great gameplay and Idea, gratz!
