Had to plug in the larger keyboard that has 2 control keys just to play it, but it was amusing. It's difficult when you have to look at the keyboard and move your hands to reach all the controls, though. xD
It was a fun little proof of concept :)
Yup, concept is nice. Maybe it would be a little too slow when playing on larger levels, but with well-thought puzzles, like mirrors reflecting your lazers, etc, it could be interesting !
I do like the concept, and I can see the effort you've put into it. I think the controls are a bit fiddly, but it's got the makings of something that could be pretty cool! Don't be too disheartened. :-)
nice proof of concept, controls need work though (altough honestly It will probably play ok on a pad even with this controls)
Shame you had that bug, I would've liked to see what you can do with this concept. Definitely an interesting idea
I like the idea you were going for. A sorta twin stick shooter in this vain would be really cool. It sucks that a unity bug stopped for but I really like the idea. Also since Mac doesn't have 2 control buttons you can't fully control both arms so you might want to think about changing it to command on mac if you could.
The browser version doesn't react to any controls on Saf/FF/Chrome before I go fullscreen and then the Q/E buttons didn't work :( I still managed to get to the end through some creative jumps tho. Interesting idea, but indeed, not finished. Hope they fix these bugs so you submit more next time.
The controls were really unresponsive and I could barely play.
Too bad for that bug in unity. I know just how nasty a limit we didn't know in our tool can be when an idea is being implemented(A bug or not), just hope you can report that bug to Unity Technologies soon to get it fixed.
And a shame it stopped you from finishing it. I really enjoy what you did with the concept, with a good freedom and time you could have honestly made it skyrocket. As it is now it is indeed a proof of a nice concept, the controls may not be as tight as they would be in a finished product but still it is something to be proud of. Can't wait for the bug to be finished and you to grow interested in the custom monster idea again.
Cool and interesting idea. Good job.
