it's a good try, but it needs more effort, still; a good call.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD33 → I don't need no Psycho-Doc!

It seemed pretty hard to kill the enemies even though I'm pretty sure I was clicking right on them. Might be good though with a few bug fixes.
The hitboxes are pretty small, I have to admit. It's better to aim slightly behind an enemy (from the protagonists point of view), cause hitscans end at the mouse position.
I feel like if it were zoomed in a bit more it would be fantastic, I like the idea, I'd say not to scrap it just yet!
Very nice project guys, i really love it, please check our game too and if you liked it give us a vote. Look for Road to hell and enjoy.
Wow, you managed to setup a great mood with little resources. My suggestion would be to zoom in a bit more and smooth out the controls a bit. Great job. :D
I don't see how the game follows the theme... As other people have said, a closer point of view would be better as most of the screen is black anyway. I liked the work on the sounds
I wanted to establish a connection to the theme over the story. But then I ran out of time and didn't implement the story. Fail. Sorry :(
