Avira jumped in... Can someone else check if it is no virus ?

dantronlesotho 2015-08-24 01:21

It's probably just because it's a straight executable. I promise I didn't make a virus :(

Ok? pretty cool, but my friend couldn't play it on his mac >_<

sudodave 2015-08-24 03:00

Pretty good, it was kinda complicated (maybe it's because it's 11pm and I've been coding for 48 hrs) but beyond that it was a very unique idea!

The tutorial is too long and it makes it difficult to absorb all that information at once.
When playing I didn't know what I was doing, what effect my actions were having, or if the outcomes of my actions were good or not. I ended up clicking randomly and won somehow.

I didn't really understand how the game works. I feel that a few blocks of text followed by a head-first dump into gameplay is not usually the most effective way to get a player to have a full experience with your work.
I clicked around randomly for a bit, enjoyed the sound of shares as they cascaded throughout the board, but ultimately had no clue what was going on and didn't really feel engaged or rewarded.

All valid criticism :)

I would have liked to build out a whole tutorial and make the mechanics mean more than they do, but sadly I only had 48 hours. Thanks for checking it out!

Ai is amazing

This is a fun take on the theme, but I refuse to rate your audio because I'm sure you didn't make the victory audio yourself.

i laugh and it makes a lt of fun but after the first time i played it it felt like minesweeper without mines but great overall

Interesting take on the theme and liked the way you had to use the different social networks to spread the "truths". The sounds worked well in the context and the text was fun. Did have issues at first figuring out what I was doing but after playing awhile I did get a hang of the sharing. Definitely understand with the time constraints it's hard to always make everything clear to the player so nice job on a unique entry.
