It's an interesting concept, but sometimes I really don't understand how I end up losing.

Interesting game! well done!
It was fun to begin with, but then it felt a bit unfair, because if a large beam started centred at your location, it didn't feel like enough time to react. Also eventually it broke, just instantly saying I'd lost, wait a bit on the end then beep and say I lost again with 0 seconds, without showing any lights.
The first few tries I died really quick, then I figured out the pattern for certain lights appearing so I survived a bit longer. The controls feel good as well. :)
Other then that, the gameplay is pretty simple and it's only fun for a minute or two.
took me a little while to figure out the game. There was a bug in the end where I would loose instantly and would just repeat the "Game Over" animation / state until i quit the game.
Other than that, had fun trying to dodge the light.
Only critique would be to make it a little friendlier. you have a ladybug in a very dark environment. Maybe the lady bug could dodge massive raindrops? Or it could be a thief dodging the light. the ladybug and environment didnt make sense to me.
Good first attempt and kudos on finishing a very tough challenge in 72hrs! (got here from your blog btw)
Nice idea, but a bit too simple.
The best strategy is to run in a straight line as the lights spawn on top of you, and it gets boring pretty fast.
Sometimes its just impossible to avoid a light.
