I'm disappointed that there wasn't an alternate ending, it really felt like there should have been. Or if there was, I couldn't find it.

Like the minimal player graphic. Enemies having label of their weakness is good idea. Bit weak after 3 enemies nothing except "ascension", but nicely done
Not really challenging.
