Runs very smoothly on my computer! For the jump sound effect, I have found that sfxr's default jump sound generator is too high pitched, usually I slide the pitch down a bit to compensate.

Very good, crisp feeling. I always do like a good platformer, especially if it's relatively bug free for collisions. I feel this has good potential.

Not bad, the control were nice & smooth,

The sound effect are a bit harsh :X

Controls are good, the dynamic shadows are spiffy but maybe they should've gone to make room for some more gameplay. I turned off the sound after a bit though... :P The controls are very smooth so there's potential in this, I think.

Oh, one bug, I fell off a cliff to the left side, and I think my right side got stuck inside a wall, cause I couldn't move left or right after that, though I could jump.

You've got a solid start to a game there, but it looks like you tried to be a bit too ambitious. As others have probably said, try making a game you can build in one day, then spend the rest of the time polishing it and tightening up everything to make it a great game. In your case, you definitely could have dropped the lighting effects and weapon system and spent more time on game-play. Also a suggestion would be if you aren't already doing so, take the reusable, generic parts of your game code and package it up into some solid base code so that next time you have some of the heavy lifting done and can be a little more ambitious.

Seems like you had your mind set in the right direction, but you ended up choosing a game that you just couldn't finish in time. Next time, add things that are less important later on and finish the actual game play first (the lighting for instance). Also, I found the sound effects were off, and could have used some more variation. The camera system was neat!
