You had a really good idea! It is a shame you couldn't improve graphics or make more puzzles, though.

The concept of the kittens seems interesting. I would like to see what kind of puzzles and challenges could be created with it if more levels were added.

The game is unfinished, so it's not fair for me to comment on anything else. Maybe you should have gone for the Jam instead to give yourself more time.

First, great that you have a loading thing. Positive first impression. Second impression was humour and honesty. It's great that you're excusing yourself for something I haven't seen yet rather than saying sorry after I've complained.

But really, this is about the game and not as much about your personal qualities. The gameplay works but I didn't predict that jumping on a kitten would kill it. In hindsight it makes sense (in the real world) but you can't kill Luigi by jumping Mario onto him. THAT doesn't make sense, to me. Graphics are 1-up from nonexistant, no audio, no real theme except for the intro story and I was expecting more levels. Sorry, but you should try harder or give more content.

Quality or quantity or both, but neither doesn't cut it. Kudos for trying.

Yeah, I have no excuses for myself but anyways I thought something was better than nothing which is why I bothered submitting at all. Couldn't really have gone for a Jam entry as I had a final exam the next day...

The design decision I made for making jumping on a kitten kill it is a bit to make the later puzzles hard, because there will be MANY kittens, and also to inspire a bit of annoyance in the players - making them wish that the kittens just weren't there. But later when it comes to the final boss, something will happen which will make all that frustration go away. Or so I hope.

Now that I know my limits a bit better I hope I can deliver something more satisfying the next time around!

I wish I could give score for a promising concept, but that would be unfair. It would be fun to see it finished. The "jump on the kitten to kill it" is a nice touch and I can imagine some interesting puzzles around the idea (I love puzzle platformers). But yeah, I can't really give you any points for it. :(

Oh. And please give some hilarious animations when throwing the kittens (and make them really cute) so my pixelsadistic side can give you rep++.
