Since I am alone here, I had to play with myself. ):
I really liked the simple look of the game and the glow around the tiles, even though it started lagging when I had about half of the windows open. Might be just me though (Firefox 8 Aurora on Ubuntu 11.04).
Also a question, should anything happen when you opened all the windows? When I finished I could move around, but nothing else happened.

Thanks for playing! Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to write that last "YOU WIN" bit, so nothing happens. Thanks to some stupid coding decisions, it would be somewhat tricky to determine when the board was completed, as there are a few different states: both sides are totally cleared, one side is cleared and the other is totally on fire, both sides are on fire and the players are dead. The dead state is easy (by checking player health), but the other two needed more time. It'll be there in the next version. ;)
Had to play it two-handed, but it's an interesting concept. I felt that fires were easy enough to contain- I did controlled burns to open windows on one side. Maybe if putting out fires had a cooldown they'd be more of a threat?
I'd be another two handed player, which was challenging. Neat idea.

@whiletruefork - the fire-starting algorithm needs to be more agressive, for sure. I'm actually a little bummed that I didn't test it more before the final deadline, I had a few test games that spawned a ton of fires right away so I figured it would be tough enough. Subsequent testing has revealed more slow games than difficult ones.

Interesting game :) Wish I could test it with someone, as playing it by myself is too hard for me.. Ha!
No timelapse? Sad. But a cool game. Though I was too dumb to master it. And yeah, I do have a significant other but if I already am too dumb to play it, I am even dumber to describe to her what to do. So snuggling did take part without the game ;)
Like the idea though. Coop-Game... kinda like Ibb and Obb.

Another person having to play this solo. Too difficult to do so. Couldn't seem to work out how to extinguish fires and then got bombarded with errors after I died. Still, nice aesthetic.
