AEFSRB2 is an enjoyable game which misses a reliable gun (bugs do not always die when hit too rapidly) and a better difficulty curve (first levels easy and last really hard). Maybe the levels should have been linked with the map (they could therefore have been adapted to help the player when needed), nevertheless it's a good shooting game and the online scoreboard (quite empty at the moment) is something other games should have too ! The graphics/sounds aren't very good but that's enough for such a game; a background music/rythm would make the game more entertaining though. The author's journal is filled with comments and food, which we all appreciate. Cool LD entry, which might benefit from some more polish ! :P

I wasn't able to get this game to start. According to the log file, the game started, but I never saw a window pop up. There appeared to be some window when I hover over the icon on the taskbar, but I couldn't get the window to actually be visible on my desktop.

Nice little game. The lighting system and ray-tracing gun show you have some definite programming chops. (So too does the internet death displayer, but unfortunately I didn't see any - not sure why?). I question why there are 5 different levels though, since they all seem to be pretty much the same (except for the introduction of shooting bugs). Still, nice game.
@Deraj: Your resolution could be too low. It needs 1024 768 minimum!
@johnfn: The levels are just getting more diffucult. Beside that, your health-bar never increases. So the 5 levels are there to test how tough you are :-p

Letting us see each others corpses and scores is a really cool idea!
Before even seeing your entry, I was actually thinking how awesome it would be if someone released an easy-to-use library enabling internet scores in (LD48) games. *hint hint :P*
For the 1st two levels, I chose stairs w/o corpses (so I'd be more likely to survive :) ). Then I wanted to see corpses and went looking but didn't see any in levels 3 or 4 for some reason, despite there being 6-9 there.
In level 5, I saw two corpses: Fififox and Felix. Yay! :)
I died and I saw high scores. Yay :)
BUT I don't see where you shared your framework pre-compo as per the rules...
my framework is on sourceforge and I shared it before LD 18! :-)
The number below the stairs represents entered people. A dead people counter is a great idea and will be in the polished version.
A small lib for publishing online scores is a good idea. I try to make that happen!

Yes, Spunkmeyer, the resolution appears to be the problem. I'm running 720p (1280x720).
@Deraj: Try to edit the config file in the folder. But i cant guarantee, that you will be able to play.
