Oct 20 02:52:46 AURORA Project ♥ 1 Fun bite-sized text adventure! The descriptions and sense of space were well done- it was easy to visualize the environment and it was fun to piece together what was happening. I think some of the reveals could have been a little subtler or later in the story, but I also understand wanting to ensure the player gets what you're going for. I liked the plot- creepy stuff! Nice that there's multiple endings, although I think that it could have been cool if it was only possible if the player found a hidden item earlier, or something. It seems like you implemented a lot of custom commands, and the implementation of the implants was cool. I liked that the terminals (which give score) served as indicators that progress is being made while also telling the story. There were a few things which caused me some grief (confusion when entering wrong padlock code, forgetting to install an implant and getting temporarily stuck) and I wish that some things were a little more flexible/intuitive, but I still enjoyed the game regardless. Good job!
Oct 21 23:27:21 44h 34m Lexi Chameleon ♥ 1 Super fun game!! Great concept, great execution, and a great time. The gameplay had a surprising amount of depth- lots of weird little strategies and LOTS of ways to make funny jokes and push the boundaries of what could feasibly be part of the original text. Getting away with something a little silly feels really fun! This was a great 'humor generator' between the people I played with (the creator included!) and the breadth of topics felt very fair. In terms of room for improvement, the game is really dependant on the guesser having some idea of what the original text is. I think a broader pool of text to choose from or some other mechanism to prevent someone getting stuck with a text they know nothing about could be good for the game. Additionally, being able to "ping" near words you'd like to change (or maybe a highlighter tool?) could be fun. Maybe a points system with bonus points for surviving with an adjacent "buddy"? Maybe a "clone" ability that lets you change two words to one word? There's definitely lots more that could be done with the idea, but as it is now, it's a blast! Amazing work.
