| Apr 19 18:49:31 | Alchemess | ♥ 3 | There's a lot of really cool stuff here, as well as a lot of potential. I really like the core of the game, where you have to use the imps to get around. It was also really cool how they had a lot of different abilities for different situations. My biggest critique is of course that it was very unfinished. I thought I was gonna have to learn how to make a bunch of different potions but the game suddenly ended, which was a little sad. Other than that, I'd agree with some people that the controls could use some work. Great work on this game! | |
| Apr 19 19:07:08 | 17m 37s | Clone fest | ♥ 4 | Critiques first then compliments: The biggest problem is the controls. This game is really frustrating to control unless you know how the clones are spawned. However, since there's no explanation, it's really difficult. It was only until I read your comment that explains the controls that I could actually enjoy the game more. I feel like the clones should be the central mechanic, but if you know how to double jump, then it really is just another platformer with a double jump that's disguised as something else. Also, even though I was playing on the desktop version, the background was jittering a lot. There was also a constant sound that sounded like it was coming from the clones running, but it was very grating on my ears. As far as the game goes, I loved the art style, the story was a lot of fun, the SFX and music was pretty good, and the idea behind the core mechanic was great. I just think it could have been executed a bit better. Great entry! |

It was a lot of fun to play, and had a gameplay loop that worked really well to keep me engaged for a decently long time. This game reminds me a lot of Vampire Survivors, which is a good thing if that's what you were going for. I'd say the next step would be to work on the audio and visuals, but I think the game being really fun more than compensates for that. Awesome work! |
