I do wish the combat was a bit more exciting to watch. Other than the combat, there is a ton of little polish things in here that really make the game feel good. From the scrolling backgrounds and banners, to the visual touches on the dialog boxes, it really comes together as a great package. Only other real critique is the slow pace of the fights. Once I got the hang of how the phases were ordered and which cards would play, I wish I could speed up the fights a bit. Very fun mechanics, and I'm always happy to play another Haxe entry! |
