May 2 02:58:09 Postal Town ♥ 2 The graphics are incredibly well done, very clean and polished. Great job!
May 2 03:10:51 12m 42s COLD CHEDDAR ♥ 3 The graphics, polish, and audio design are really well done here. I think the game could use a bit more UI work and feedback to help the player understand what's going on.
May 2 18:33:11 15h 22m Tattered Tunics ♥ 1 This a creative use of the theme and a fun swordfighting/parrying game. The AI is very well done. I think the only thing I'd add is some kind of buffer system for inputs, it felt like my inputs were getting eaten if I pressed a button during an animation. Pressing multiple buttons (like if I pressed up or down while I was holding forward or back) also seemed to eat my input.
May 2 19:08:23 35m 12s Virus Load ♥ 3 It's really satisfying to collect more virus and take down larger enemies. As has been said, I think a feature that allows for some kind of dodging would be helpful since it's basically impossible to dodge the things flying at you once the snake gets really long.
May 2 19:30:32 22m 09s EneRail ♥ 2 Pretty cool puzzle game! The graphics and music in particular are polished and really well done.
May 2 19:39:13 8m 41s Cozy Crane Master ♥ 1 Great graphics and music, and really fun to use the physics to get boxes into the boat faster. I agree with the suggestion of being able to pick up multiple boxes--this game makes me just want to fling giant stacks of boxes around!
May 2 20:55:11 1h 15m Hedgie's Letter Hunt ♥ 1 Pretty fun platformer. Cute graphics and great music/vibe!
May 2 21:13:44 18m 33s Asteroid Miner ♥ 1 Classic asteroids! The asteroid visuals are great. There's a couple things around the edges that could use some polishing--I think the ship should turn a bit slower (although honestly, you could lean into the idea of the ship having wacky physics) and I got lost off the side of the screen a few times.
May 2 21:22:31 8m 47s Pigeon Express ♥ 0 I really like the control scheme and physics here, it's creative and leads to a lot of fun/silly interactions.
May 2 21:35:50 13m 19s Souls on Board: The Styx Delivery Service ♥ 1 Great audio design and theme! The controls are a bit frustrating as has been mentioned, though I feel that it's sort of the point--I think you could lean into it further and make the controls/physics a bit more fair while still remaining janky/silly.
May 2 21:48:59 13m 09s Delivery Corp. ♥ 0 Great clicker-style game. I love the little newsfeed at the top! P.S I won. Pigeons OP.
May 2 22:20:54 31m 55s Fridge Floppers ♥ 1 This is amazing. So many things to like here--clean visuals, great sound, the fail-fast design, the silly but polished controls. The physics felt very fair--the fridge never moved in an unexpected way, it was just because I hadn't learned to control it properly. I think the only thing I'd change is I'd consider having the fridge start on the platform at the start of the level (rather than in the air). I lost many times immediately because I moved too quickly and the fridge just flew off. Keeping with fail-fast I think it'd be better to avoid having this happen so players can start a level the moment after it starts.
May 2 22:30:29 9m 35s Egg Panic ♥ 2 The visuals are cute and the whole game is really well polished. Great game!
May 3 02:34:03 4h 03m Parcel Madness: The Last Delivery ♥ 1 We had this idea while brainstorming, great to see it executed! The change in movement from when you're holding the package and not is a really good idea that mixes up the gameplay.
May 3 18:35:06 16h 01m Spider Sorter ♥ 1 Fun concept! It's really satisfying once it gets rolling. I agree the lead time on the first belt could use a bit of an extension, the game is quite punishing right now.
May 3 18:43:55 8m 49s Game Genie: Crunch Time ♥ 3 Complete chaos! I agree that it definitely works in the game's favor and learning how to manage all the nonsense is part of the charm. Very fun!
May 3 23:22:21 4h 38m The Rum Run ♥ 3 Beat the whole thing! This is incredibly well made especially for the time pressure. Didn't expect a bullet hell game! I particularly liked the balance between "puzzle-like" enemies where you have to figure out the right place to stand and more execution-heavy enemies where you need to constantly move around and dodge. I don't love the system of losing a power-up every time you get hit, it just feels kind of bad, but I'm not sure how you'd balance the game without it. I think the mermaids could be toned down a bit also, the homing attacks stay on the screen just a bit too long.
May 5 02:04:11 26h 41m A Bag ♥ 2 Out of all the games I've played in Ludum Dare 53, this was certainly one of them
